Description
The structure promises shelter.
Its form speaks the familiar language of care, elevation, and invitation.
Yet every opening is guarded.
What appears as protection is calibrated to deter.
Here, hospitality becomes conditional. It is offered in principle and withdrawn in practice.
The gesture remains intact, while access is redesigned.
Between welcome and control, the work exposes a dissonance. Openness can be declared without being enacted, and fear often survives beneath the vocabulary of care.
What stands is not refusal, but ambivalence made durable.
