Description
The monstrance is traditionally oriented toward a single act of presence: to frame, protect, and expose the host as the locus of real presence.
Here, that gesture is multiplied. Radiance no longer emanates from one axis, but extends outward in competing directions.
What is meant to be gathered becomes distributed; what is centered becomes unresolved. Presence persists, but without measure.
The object does not negate belief. It holds open the question of whether presence, once undistinguished, can still be held at all.
