Description
A promise of transmission is established where none can occur. Devotion is placed into a circuit designed for amplification and output.
Prayer is treated as signal. Belief is routed through a device built to optimize performance, clarity, and gain.
The connection promises enhancement, but produces no transmission. What is intensified is not faith itself, but the expectation that it can be measured, improved, or made efficient.
Here, transcendence is subjected to technical logic. The result is neither critique nor affirmation, but exposure: a gap between interior conviction and external optimization.
High Fidelity names this mismatch. Not as irony, but as a condition in which meaning is asked to perform and fails to respond.
