Description
An artillery piece is presented in a state of collapse. The barrel bends downward, its rigidity compromised, its function suspended.
What is traditionally associated with force, projection, and dominance is rendered inert. It is not destroyed, but incapable of execution. The form remains legible; its failure is structural rather than symbolic.
The work introduces vulnerability into an object designed to deny it. Power is no longer expressed through discharge or threat, but through exposure and loss of control.
Violence is not dramatized here.
It is fatigued.
